TwelveTrees
is nestled in the Mohawk Valley near the Middle Fork of the Feather
River. This property has been owned by my family for well over 40
years, and many years before that the Maidu indians used
this land for hunting and gathering. I have always felt
it's sacredness and am grateful to be a guardian for the
land.
We are blessed with 30
wooded acres, mountain meadows, ponds and winter
streams.
The kennel name of
TwelveTrees was born from an English family name and symbolically
represents the spiritual and physical beauty of the
property.
Since childhood,
Labradors have represented both a spiritual and physical connection
for me. Seeking comfort in their gentle spirit, I spent many long
hours in the company of Labradors, as my father was also a Labrador
breeder. I feel a special attachment and responsibility to protect
and serve them, as they have served me. It feels like
reciprocity.
At TwelveTrees, we are
committed to developing a line of Labrador Retrievers who are sound
of body, mind and spirit.
All of our breeding
stock is OFA, Wind-Morgan, CERF and
Optigen certified. We
breed for temperament, genetic soundness and conformation.
All puppies are sold on a
limited registration basis, imprinted at birth and socialized as
pups before leaving TwelveTrees.
